Tim's Pittsburgh show is part of the 2013 Baierl Subaru Country Megaticket.
After more than two decades on the road, McGraw's ability to entertain and command a crowd continues to be a defining characteristic of both his artistry and superstar status. Earlier this year the Tampa Tribune described McGraw's live show as "effortless" while the Atlanta Journal Constitution remarked "he's so casually cool onstage" and OC Weekly said "It's a bold claim, but McGraw could and should be poised to reign as king of country music."
"This album marks a new sense of excitement and artistic freedom for me, and I really wanted to extend that same feeling to the tour and create a cool vibe for the fans," explains McGraw. "Let's leave anything that might be weighing us down out in the parking lot and spend a few hours together feeling alive and free. We've started working up new songs from the album, and there's some really cool stuff we'll be able to pull out this summer. My band is just kick-ass…there's nothing these guys can't play! We'll be counting the days til Birmingham!"
Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 8 at 10am via Livenation.com, all Ticketmaster outlets or charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000.

Tim McGraw:
Country music superstar, actor, and humanitarian, Tim McGraw, has been churning out the hits for nearly two decades. Now, you can now catch him on tour, Tim McGraw's concert schedule includes a headlining spot on the 2011 "Emotional Traffic Tour", featuring The Band Perry and Luke Bryan.
Tim McGraw's story is compelling and his rise to the top of the country charts was organic and self-propagated. McGraw was born to a young mother and a father destined for MLB greatness, Tug McGraw. McGraw grew up believing that his step-father was his biological father until he discovered his birth certificate and his surname listed as McGraw. It wasn't until Tim was 18 that Tug acknowledged him as his son and they developed a close relationship that s detailed in the song "Live Like You Were Dying". The record was a bittersweet hit for McGraw as it was a tribute to his dying father and the biggest country single of 2004.
McGraw's career began when he attended Northeast Louisiana University on a baseball scholarship. While in college, he taught himself to play guitar and performed at local bars to make some side money. McGraw eventually left school and headed to Nashville in 1987 to start a recording career. It wasn't until 1990 that he was noticed by A&R execs form Curb Records who signed McGraw to a deal and released his self-titled debut in 1992. The album stalled on the charts, but McGraw received some airplay for the three singles he released off the album. His sophomore set proved to be a massive success; "Not A Moment Too Soon" released in 1994 featured the hit singles "Indian Outlaw" and "Don't Take the Girl", which were pop-crossover hits as well. The album is one of his most successful to date, having sold six million copies, and won McGraw the Academy of Country Music's awards for Album of the Year and Top New Male Vocalist in 1994.
McGraw's chart success continued throughout the 1990s and 2000s. Seven of his nine studio albums have hit the pole position on the Billboard Country Albums charts and he has sold over forty million copies in the US alone. He has released twenty-three singles that have become #1 hits on the country charts and he has outsold every other male vocalist in the past two decades. McGraw married fellow country singer, Faith Hill, in 1996 and the couple have become a country music powerhouse. The duo have toured and recorded hit singles together, most notably "It's Your Love" which was certified double-platinum by the RIAA. The pair even earned a Grammy Award in 2006 for their duet "Like we Never Loved At All". In that year, the pair announced a worldwide co-headlining tour, "Soul2Soul II", which became the fifth-highest grossing tour of 2006 and the highest gross country music tour of all time when it sold over 1.6 million tickets over its two-year course.
McGraw continues to record, his latest single, "Felt Good on My Lips", hit #1 in early 2011 and he released another greatest hits album. More recently, however, McGraw has focused his efforts towards acting. He played Sandra Bullock's husband in the biopic, "The Blind Side", and he shared the stage with Gwyneth Paltrow for the country music film "Country Strong". McGraw has sold tens of millions of records, won dozens of awards, and has a burgeoning family with Faith Hill, and he isn't done yet. He is currently in the studio finishing his eleventh studio album, "Emotional Traffic". In Support of the recent release, Tim McGraw tour dates are scheduled in the upcoming "Emotional Traffic Tour". He will be teaming up with The Band Perry and Luke Bryan at various venues throughout 2011. Don't miss out on the King of Country Music when he brings his act to your area. Gilbert hails from Jefferson, Georgia and cites his southern roots as the basis for his lyrics. It wasn't until a near fatal car accident in which his truck flipped over several times on the highway that Gilbert realized that life is short and precious. Following a lengthy recovery, he then focused his energies towards his passion and embarked on a full-time career in music. He was picked up for an indie record deal in 2005 and was supposed to release his debut album, A Modern Day Prodigal Son, but he was dropped from the line-up before the album hit stores. Brantley Gilbert toured constantly, and performed as many concerts as venues would have him in order to secure another deal.
Years of constant touring earned Gilbert a record contract with Average Joe's Entertainment who released his debut album in 2009. Although, no singles were released, the album did appear on the Billboard Country Albums chart in 2009 and garnered him attention in and around Nashville. Gilbert was noticed by Jason Aldean who re-recorded Gilbert's "My Kinda Party" for his 2010 album of the same name. The single became a #2 hit for Aldean and legitimated Gilbert as a songwriter. Aldean also recorded the Gilbert penned track, "Dirt Road Anthem", which serves as his current single and is climbing up the Billboard country charts. Brantley Gilbert tour dates were vigorously scheduled throughout the Southeast and he was soon picked up to a major deal with the Valory Music Group.
Gilbert scored his first charting single with "Country Must Be Country Wide", in 2011. The single is currently rising up the country charts and his sophomore album, Halfway to Heaven, has been in stores since 2010. The aspiring country star has been on the road touring for the better part of 2010-11 to promote his records. In addition to individual Brantley Gilbert tour dates, the country rocker has signed on to Willie Nelson's Country Throwdown Tour, which is playing fairgrounds and festivals throughout Summer, 2011.
