Show your dedication to the health and safety of children in our community. Donate to the first Child Safety Day at Canonsburg Hospital.

-The event will kick off Child Safety Week, an annual campaign run by the Child Accident Prevention Trust. Together, we can protect children from preventable injuries, the number one cause of death for children in the US. The event will feature a “Touch a Truck” demonstration that will allow children to meet local police officers, fire fighters, and

Businesses making a cash or in-kind donation valued at $500 or more by May 3 will have their company logo featured on event T-shirts!

Why you should donate?
• Child Safety Day will educate families on
how to reduce traffic injuries, drownings,
falls, burns, poisonings,
and more.
• Children will learn about fire, bicycle, auto
mobile, and water safety. You can help
provide the tools they need to
be safe.
• The event is expected to attract a large
number of young families from our
community. Families who prefer to shop
close to home.

The event will be a fun, hands-on
experience that will:
• Teach children how dedicated professionals
use trucks, helicopters, and ambulances to
serve, protect, and build communities.
• Give children an up-close view of an
Allegheny Health Network LifeFlight
emergency medical helicopter.
• Include raffles, giveaways, and refreshments
to make the event enjoyable for all ages.
