360 Video Workshop at filmMAKERS friday
Join Pittsburgh Filmmakers for the return of filmMAKERS friday, an ongoing event series featuring maker activities, refreshments, live music, and audiovisual fun for all. Highlighted in this event is a Getting Started with 360 Video workshop, programmed in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh. Participants of this worksop will learn about the powerful tool of 360 video, a new advancement in consumer camera technology with the potential for powerful implementations in education and the arts. Participants will produce their own short creation in this professional development workshop. We’ll work in teams to shoot a short scene and stitch our media together using Adobe Premiere, while also discussing technical specifications, available cameras, digital workflows, and tips for YouTube distribution. Additional maker activities for filmMAKERS friday will be added to this event closer to the date. *Prior registration is required - space is limited. **Act 48 credit hours are available for those interested.
