Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland
Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland, presented by Dollar Energy Fund, returns to the Big Butler Fairgrounds for its third season of comical displays and festive lights set to jolly tunes. This award-winning Christmas light and music extravaganza is three miles of Christmas cheer. From November 17th through January 7th, the maze of lights will glow into the night sky from 6 to 10PM. Guests simply tune in their radio, and watch the magic unfold as they drive through hundreds of thousands of brilliant LED lights dancing in perfect synchronization with the music filling their vehicle. This unique spectacle takes light shows to a whole new level as it captivates its audience with a perfect unity of sight and sound.
While quickly becoming a family tradition for many, this show continues to “wow” guests year after year with cutting-edge technology and new additions. Debuting this season is a journey through displays of some favorite childhood tales, like Little Red Riding Hood, Jack be Nimble, the Princess and the Frog, Little Miss Muffet, and many more. These entertain all ages, as some may reminisce while others hear the stories for the first time.
The festivities continue beyond the driving route into Santa’s Village. Guests of the light show can meet and have a photo with Saint Nick himself (Nov. 17th - Dec. 23rd), and shop for souvenirs while enjoying refreshments like hot cocoa, kettle corn, pizza, hot dogs, nachos, and more. There are also rides for kids, and a free Christmas letter writing station to Santa.
The cost to experience Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland is $25 per family car or van. For an activity van, limousine or small bus the cost is $40, and
tour/school buses are $80. Rates include tax. Items in Santa’s Village are an additional cost.
